Suzie (my wife) and I went to a meeting on a trip to Haiti in August of 2009. The meeting was at the home church for Elizabeth (the leader of Hearts with Hope for Haiti). 9 people showed up to discuss going to Haiti to assist in a Teacher's Conference in Haiti for several Christian Schools. This is the 2nd year of the conference. We just went over some of the details of the trip and some of the things to pray for. The dates of the conference is August 3, 4, and 5, 2009.
Wow! What an awesome experience. During our prayer time, we had great praise and worship and prayed for the upcoming teacher conference needs. It is definite clear that we want this to be God's conference and go in the direction that God leads. It was wonderful to be with people that have a heart for this ministry to Haiti.
